*From June our workshops will also be available in packages of three Floristry workshops. You can book 3 of our workshops as a package at a special rate, as long as the workshops you attend are within 3 months from the date of purchase.
Every month we hold flower arranging workshops on different topics and it is up to you which one would you like to attend to. When you have chosen the workshops you’d like to participate in, please let us know a minimum of 10 days beforehand.
Topics include commercial items as:
-Hand-tied bouquet with wrapping
-Table centrepiece with or without floral foam
-Dried flower wreath
- Gift box with fresh flowers.
Each topic can be chosen once.
The workshops are aimed at those who want to deepen their knowledge in the field of floristry and is for flower arrangers of all abilities, from beginners and home-arrangers to professional florists.
Our hands-on workshops begin with a talk and demonstration, followed by a practical session in which you create your own design using seasonal flowers.
*We will discuss how to incorporate seasonal flowers and foliage in arrangements and we'll learn basic flower conditioning techniques, creating beautiful bouquets or seasonal arrangements for your home.
* This information will be a great starting point for those who want to learn more about the floral industry while at the same time sharpening their design skills.
Our workshops are 2-hour sessions each and can accommodate a maximum of 7 people. Topics that are covered in every session are as follows:
Introduction to floral care before, during and after arranging
Learn how to blend colours and texture
Floral design basics and techniques
Hands-on session with step by step guidance
Sustainable floristry
The package includes: all flower material, vases, tools to use, light snacks and refreshments , plus you get to bring home your floral creations from the workshop.
Languages: Hungarian, English. The workshops are held in English or Hungarian depending on the participants.
Please note, if you signed up for the workshop up to 5 days prior to the event, it is possible to cancel it. You can cancel it by email or phone. However, after this date the fee is non-refundable. Please be advised that if, for any reason, you are unable to attend the workshop at the time arranged, your slot is transferrable (to another person).
Namu reserves the right to cancel any workshop for any reason (typically not enough participants). In the event of a complete cancellation all guests will be given 24 hours notice and the option to: receive a credit for a future workshop of equal or lesser value, use the amount of the workshop in our store, or receive a full refund.
