What is a Door Wreath? The door knocker is a kind of metal device mounted on doors to allow arriving visitors to signal their presence—long before doorbells or intercoms became common. In ancient Greece and Rome, decorative versions were often used, such as hand-shaped or mythological motifs. Today, the term "door knocker" also refers to decorative door ornaments, especially during holidays or seasonal changes, featuring flowers, fruits, and ribbons to beautify our homes and enhance our mood.
Description:
In this workshop, children will learn the traditional technique of wreath-making from scratch. We will securely attach natural materials—fresh and dried flowers and greenery—using continuous wiring on a wreath ring, ensuring that the colours and forms of the composition are harmonious.
The wreath or door decoration created by the children can be a beautiful seasonal decoration on a door, wall, or even a table, and also makes for a perfect unique gift.
