Christmas wreath & Gift wrapping Workshop

Create a delicate Christmas botanical decoration on a natural bamboo ring, then transform it into a beautifully wrapped handmade gift.

Using seasonal winter botanicals, dried flowers, festive foliage, grasses, berries, seed heads and delicate branches, you will create a natural Christmas wreath with a soft, elegant and timeless feel.

Sustainability is at the heart of the workshop. Instead of floral foam, plastic and disposable wrapping, we work with natural and reusable materials and explore how thoughtful floral mechanics can reduce waste. The bamboo ring can be reused, the botanical elements can dry naturally and become part of your home throughout the winter season, while the textile wrapping can be used again and again.

Once your wreath is complete, we turn our attention to the art of gifting. You will learn a bojagi/furoshiki-inspired textile wrapping technique, using reusable fabric to create an elegant and waste-conscious Christmas presentation. Natural ribbons, a botanical detail and a handmade gift tag complete your creation.

Bojagi and furoshiki are traditional textile wrapping techniques that use fabric to beautifully wrap and carry gifts and objects without disposable packaging. In this workshop, we reinterpret these traditions in a simple, contemporary way for Christmas gifting.

You will leave with a handmade botanical Christmas decoration — or a beautifully wrapped gift ready to place under the tree.

✔ The price includes the basic materials (floral material,bojagi textile, accessories, packaging material/ bag, ribbon), soft beverages, snacks and a small gift from us. You can take your arrangement home with you at the end.

✔ We provide the tools, apron and gloves.

✔ Duration: approx. 2 hours.

✔ Language: Hungarian, English. The workshops are held in English or Hungarian depending on the participants.

✔ Gift cards, which can be purchased on our website, can be used towards all workshops.

✔ Private floral workshops at your location of choice is also possible with prior arrangement

 Note: If you sign up for one of our workshops but cannot come, you can cancel 5 days before the event by email or phone. You can also transfer participation to someone else.

Namu reserves the right to cancel any workshop for any reason (usually low attendance- min 3 person). In case of full cancellation, all customers will be notified 24 hours before the workshop and have the option of: requesting a credit for a future session of equal or lesser value, or using the amount paid in our store, or receiving a full refund.
