Harvest kenzan table with flowers, branches and berries

Participants create a beautiful, natural autumn table setting using seasonal flowers, branches, berries, little pumpkins, foliage and other botanical elements. They will learn how to combine different heights, textures and colours and how to arrange the elements across a table to create a warm, inviting and cohesive autumn atmosphere.

The workshop also introduces the kenzan technique, showing how it can be used to create natural, airy floral arrangements without floral foam.

The focus is not just on making one arrangement, but on learning how to style an entire autumn table — so participants can recreate the feeling at home for a dinner, celebration or simply a cosy autumn afternoon.

A kenzan is a reusable Japanese flower-arranging tool with sturdy metal pins that hold stems securely in place without the need for floral foam.

It allows you to create natural, airy arrangements while making a more sustainable choice for your flowers. Unlike floral foam, a kenzan can be used again and again — and it works beautifully with different flowers and botanical materials throughout the year.

One tool, many seasons.
Today, you might use it with autumn branches, berries and foliage; in spring, it can hold delicate blossoms and fresh greenery; in summer, wildflowers; and in winter, evergreen branches and seasonal stems.

The idea is simple: learn the technique once, then keep using it to create new arrangements for every season and occasion.

✔ The price includes the basic materials (floral material, ceramic bowl, kenzan, accessories, packaging material/ bag, ribbon), soft beverages, snacks and a small gift from us. You can take your arrangement home with you at the end.

✔ We provide the tools, apron and gloves.

✔ Limited number: max. 7 people.

✔ Duration: approx. 2 hours.

✔ Language: Hungarian, English. The workshops are held in English or Hungarian depending on the participants.

✔ Gift cards, which can be purchased on our website, can be used towards all workshops.

✔ Private floral workshops at your location of choice is also possible with prior arrangement

 Note: If you sign up for one of our workshops but cannot come, you can cancel 5 days before the event by email or phone. You can also transfer participation to someone else.

Namu reserves the right to cancel any workshop for any reason (usually low attendance- min 3 person). In case of full cancellation, all customers will be notified 24 hours before the workshop and have the option of: requesting a credit for a future session of equal or lesser value, or using the amount paid in our store, or receiving a full refund.
