What is a Kenzan? A Kenzan is a Japanese flower arranging (ikebana) tool used to securely fix flowers in a composition. It is also known in Hungarian as a "virágtüske" (flower spike). The Kenzan consists of a heavy metal base with sharp vertical spikes that hold the flowers in place in ikebana arrangements. The Kenzan is a traditional Japanese technique that has been rediscovered by Western floristry and is gaining popularity due to its clean design and sustainable nature.
