Description: In this workshop, we’ll explore the minimalist yet expressive world of kenzan-based floral design (flower frog technique). While rooted in Japanese ikebana, our approach is contemporary and relaxed — prioritizing balance, negative space, and visual tension with just a few carefully chosen flowers. This understated yet striking piece can be displayed as a table decoration, consol table piece etc.
What we'll do:
Get to know the kenzan technique and its sustainable advantages
Design a harmonious composition with fresh flowers and greenery
Experiment with symmetry, asymmetry, height, and line
Learn how to express more with less – where form carries meaning
Perfect for:
Anyone curious about sustainable floristry, who enjoys minimalist aesthetics and wants to create something thoughtful with minimal elements.
